Have you ever wondered why some life is more valuable or precious than other life? Why is that the death of a human has way more of an impact on us than a family pet? I believe its because this significance and value comes from our Creator. Let's keep digging into this question of discovering "who is Jesus?".
We have been created by God to trust, to depend. The question isn't whether or not we are trusting and depending in life. The real question is WHO are we trusting and depending on? Is it ourselves, or parents, friends, money and so much more? In this series we will be answering some questions as it pertains to trusting in Jesus and Jesus being the foundation of our faith.
Hello Parents! In this meeting Pastor Brien and Rodney will be sharing their hearts about the current state of our Student Ministries. There have been some obvious changes that have been made to our teen services and we really want to take some time to explain why these changes have been made. We would also like to share what our vision is and what the direction is for our teen ministry. A time of Q&A will be provided. We would love to hear your feedback! Lunch is provided, we hope to see you there!
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me". The lie detecter determined, that was a lie!! In this service we will be discussing the importance of our words. The scriptures teaches us that our words are powerful and can shape the quality of our lives. Our words can hurt other people and can also be extremely hurtful to ourselves. There are a lot of factors that contribute to how we speak and why. We will talk about watching what goes in us because what goes in will come out at some point. Our music and what we watch are huge in influencing how we choose to speak.
In this part of the series of Fools Gold, Kyle Donauer will be discussing the importance of authority in our lives. We know especially in todays times that authority can be perceived as something despicable to some teenagers. We believe that the bible teaches us that maximum freedom is found under God's authority. It's when we embrace and submit to God's authority in our everyday lives, that we find TRUE freedom.
